Choose the appropriate rating based on your activity. Some shore break to note and waves sets arriving every 6-8 minutes. Best to avoid the Northwest Zone for snorkeling today. The Kamaole Beaches, Ulua Beach, Wailea Beach & Makena Landing are all looking great this morning! Lots of rainbows are expected as the storm starts to clear. There is also a yacht that crashed on the reef up the point. Lights winds in the AM may become strong winds in the PM. The Kamaole beaches & Makena Landing are the calmest. Extremely powerful waves, currents & undertow! The weather is idyllic year-round on Maui, so there's really no bad time to come. The roads are flooding & many roads are closed throughout the Zone. The south face of Black Rock is looking really nice & should stay pretty calm all day. There is a slight chance of scattered showers later but most likely it willstay sunny. Kapalua Bay. Waves and shore break can be found at Wailea Beach and Ulua Beach. Its an incredibly beautiful beach day with light winds, however the waves are still too big for snorkeling.
