bona I checked Durasupreme and they have white oak but not in the shade we like. The finish will look different if you start with different white oak. Oh cripe I had a whole response written out and it went poof. If those were red oak, they did a very good job toning down the red. . Finally, I coated half of my sample with their Fortico Satin and I could not see the poly at all. It is the single most abused/used FINISH ('finish' means 'pretty) in your home.
